The hanging chain has the same matte black finish as the rest of the light and is attached to the light through a circular hook. The hook is attached to the top ornament of the light which extends to a two-step roof. This roof goes down into a wide curved frame which tapers inwards towards the bottom and ends in a tapered cage.
