The base of the lamp has a flat round vase shape which sits on top of a tapered bottom wooden piece. The base is made of polyresin which is colored a flat dark brown finish. Running across the body of the base are two thin vertical lines with one wide line at the top. Inside the lines there are small squares that have a shiny finish that mimics the look of glass. The shade is made from a textured beige fabric and has a traditional tapered shape. The contrast and different textures in this lamp make it a very unique piece.
